Mushroom Rock
Paper < Scissors < Rock < MUSHROOM!

The resilience, toughness and ability to grow in almost anywhere in plants never ceases to amaze me, especially if they grow from the tiniest crack into the tiniest, craggiest plant and still able to flower and fruit.




Duration: 2 hours less spread over 3 days

#2-LIGHT [by Emm]

When I was thinking of the theme and rock popped into my head, I was thinking of the classic rocker. Using dramatic colors is something I've always wanted to try and do I've attempted it this time.

Duration: c.22mins. Kept it quick and short.

...just an honest (sort of) illustration of a rock I saw in a library book.
I like the contrast between the smooth and rough texture.

I really like this quote here: "that which has not been drawn has not been seen."
We 'look' at tonnes of stuff everyday, but only through observing and drawing them out, do we truly see them.

Lifelight
The moment when grace finally shines through in your life.

I was stumped for this theme even though I suggested it, and the only tangible interpretation of light right now to me is God's grace. His grace brings forth light, hope and peace to those tangled within darkness. So here is my take.

Type: Art installation
Medium: Acrylic paint, paper, foamboard, pins, rubber bands

Notes: I was so annoyed with the spray I used cause it smudged the drawing up a bit. Also, my scanner isn't working!! So this is from my phone and cleaned up in PS. If I can, I'll upload a better quality one in the future.
